If Teaching Reading Were Simple, What Would It Look Like?

KIDS DON´T COME IN PACKAGES OF 1ST AND 2ND GRADERS.

What if there was a straightforward way to teach YOUR child to read and write where you knew precisely WHAT to teach and HOW to teach it? Using evidence-based programs, we empower and support parents of neurotypical and neurodiverse readers in the task of teaching literacy.

Mini Reader Analysis Session

WHAT is this FREE session about? It gives parents feedback about their child, possible gaps in their learning, and the opportunity to celebrate with you the little things that most parents don't notice...

The Reader Discovery Package

When we see gaps, it's important to know what specifically is causing them.  The Reader Discovery Package will tell you WHY you see certain behaviors and emerging skills to focus on next.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS ARE SAYING

"Max has become an enthusiastic, excited, comfortable reader after going through this program! And, his first week of school tests had him at the goal reading level for March!"

“…All the struggling, stressed out mommas that are freaking out, I would definitely recommend it.”

Cassidee made leaps I never thought she could from one month ago! This means the absolute world to me. I’ve worked 1000’s of hours with her, struggling for six years. Every reading specialist out there has worked with her and made a few strides, but nothing like this! You are a complete gift from God. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"

Frequently asked questions

You’ve got questions. We’ve got answers.

What sets your programs apart?

With us, you don't just learn how to teach reading and writing.  We teach you how to think about the learning process with regards to your particular child.  We show you how to be a detective of your child and look for clues to guide your instruction. This will impact every area of your teaching and go beyond the confines of any program.

Let us support you every step of the way and make your instructional time a bonding experience!

How do you teach a group program while still individualizing for my child?

Our comprehensive packages have trainings in all areas of reading.  With our Reader Discovery Package, we know exactly where your child is in every area.  We can then give you a blueprint on which components will benefit you in the stage of development that your child is in.  This keeps you from getting overwhelmed or trying to implement techniques that your child is not yet ready for.

What transformations can I expect to see?

*Kids I work with one-on-one consistently grow 1+ year's growth on the Qualitative Reading Inventory, both in decoding and comprehension.
*They consistently have more detailed retellings and are better able to create content images and interact with the text they are reading to deepen comprehension.

*They consistently develop more confidence in their written self-expression with better, more detailed ideas.  They use punctuation and sentence structure to enhance flow.

*Parents learn new ways to interact with their learners to build confidence.  Looking at their child from a detective perspective builds a bond between parent and child because they feel understood.

"When I know exactly where my kiddo is, preparing for his reading lesson becomes the easiest part of my day because I know where to go next and I can trust that what I am teaching is the most effective use of our time together."
